About LU’MA

LU'MA began with a simple question. What happens when we stop carrying more than we need? Over time, that question became something larger: an exploration of presence. Not as something to achieve, but as something we can return to. We believe that the way we live is shaped by what surrounds us. The spaces we inhabit. The objects we choose. The clothes we wear. The rituals we cultivate. The experiences we share. The stories we tell ourselves every day. Each one has the power to bring us closer to ourselves.Today, LU'MA takes shape through garments, objects, books, rituals, experiences, spaces, and visual narratives. Different expressions of one intention: to create the conditions in which presence becomes easier to access. We don't see beauty as decoration. We see it as coherence. When what surrounds us reflects what truly matters, life becomes quieter, lighter, and more intentional. And in that quiet, presence naturally returns. LU'MA is not a destination. It is an ongoing exploration of how we choose to live.

LU'MA is created by Serena Forzieri and Carolina Piccione, a mother and daughter. Coming from different generations and creative paths, they share a common belief: that the way we shape what surrounds us shapes the way we experience ourselves.Serena has spent decades creating spaces where people feel welcomed, while cultivating a lifelong interest in presence, the body, and the quiet intelligence of everyday life. Carolina brings a contemporary perspective shaped by fashion, design, visual culture, and storytelling. Together, they develop LU'MA as an evolving body of work where experiences, everyday rituals, garments, objects, books, spaces, and visual narratives become different expressions of the same intention: to create the conditions in which presence can naturally emerge. Rather than offering answers, LU'MA invites a different way of living - one where beauty is not an aesthetic ideal, but a way of bringing greater coherence to everyday life.
