About LU’MA

LU'MA began with a simple question. What happens when we stop carrying more than we need? Over time, that question became a broader exploration of presence. Not as something to achieve, but as something that emerges when body, space, objects and everyday choices come into coherence. Today, LU'MA takes shape through garments, objects, books, spaces and visual narratives. Each one is designed with the same intention: to create the conditions in which presence becomes easier. We believe that beauty is not decoration. It is a form of coherence. And coherence gently allows the body to release what it no longer needs to carry. LU'MA is not a destination. It is an ongoing exploration of how we choose to live.

LU'MA is created by Serena Forzieri and Carolina Piccione, mother and daughter. Coming from different generations and perspectives, they share a common belief: that the way we shape what surrounds us shapes the way we inhabit ourselves. Serena brings decades of experience in creating places that make people feel welcomed, together with a lifelong exploration of presence, space and the body. Carolina brings a contemporary perspective shaped by fashion, visual culture and design. Together, they develop LU'MA as an evolving body of work where garments, objects, books and spaces become different expressions of the same research.
